| CompuLert's
automated alarming and notification facilities
report system or device exceptions and conditions
as they are developing, providing the critical
early warning necessary to prevent service
degradation and outages. Through CompuLert,
alarming can be initiated based on any customizable
criteria, threshold, or parameter including
specific messages, time, frequency, severity,
business rules, keywords, events, etc.
CompuLert also provides automatic escalation
capabilities based on customizable criteria
including alarm type, device type, duration
of the condition, or the number of occurrences
of the same alarm. In addition, CompuLert
correlates duplicate alarms, to present
only one alarm of the highest severity.
Once an alarm is initiated, CompuLert automatically
notifies key personnel through the desired
method, including:
- Visual color-coded displays at the
users' workstation
- Paging to alphanumeric pagers
- Text messaging to cell phones
- Emails to specified recipients
- Interactive telephone calls initiated
through the optional CompuVoice facility
CompuLert notification is fully customizable,
and can be based on any combination of
criteria including alarm severity or priority,
device, time, specific staff to be notified,
or job function. In addition, CompuLert
can automatically generate and update trouble
tickets within popular solutions such as
Remedy.

CompuLert's interactive device & alarm
management interface provides
graphical web-based control of all device
alarms, and enables users to directly interact
with managed devices including:
- Acknowledge and/or clear alarms

and user activity to analyze and diagnose
problems
- Directly access and control the managed
