CompuVoice® is
the automated, interactive telephone and voice
response option for the CompuLert System Management
Solution. CompuVoice communicates with CompuLert
in real-time, automatically triggering CompuVoice
to call out, page, leave voice messages and interactively
deliver and obtain information from company personnel,
vendors or customers.
CompuVoice automatically
contacts from one to several different people
and provides automated escalation capabilities
which can alter the call process based on the
situation, problem severity or time constraints.
Using "live" recorded voices and sounds, the
CompuVoice state of the art digital voice technology
provides personalized, specific information
to call recipients.
CompuVoice users create customized actions through
the provided scripts, easily modified through a
simple fill-in-the-blank user interface accessible
from any CompuLert workstation. This easy-to-use
interface is a powerful advantage over the other
phone type systems that either take much longer
to use or require programming experience.
CompuVoice features include:
- Multiple simultaneous telephone line support
- Multiple phone numbers and time ranges per
defined user
- Contact group support
- Automatic detection of voice or answering
machine/voicemail
- ID and security support
- User definable escalation procedures
- Bi-directional, real-time host message support
to link phone calls to host applications
- Switch hook flash for using PBX features
like HOLD and TRANSFER
- Automated mechanisms to monitor and control
the pending calls
- Alphanumeric paging to automatically send
system alert messages to pagers alphanumerically
- Announcement box capabilities enabling announcements
to be recorded and played automatically for
end-users accessing
the Help
Desk. These
messages can describe the system status, planned
maintenance schedules, and other key conditions
that would normally result in numerous Help
Desk calls.
CompuVoice communicates with CompuLert via
a standard Intel-based PC running Windows NT 4.0,
Windows 2000, or Windows 2000 Professional. Standard
off-the-shelf Dialogic voice cards are used for
the telephone interface.
