Selects CompuLert As Key
Enterprise Management Solution

DaimlerChrysler selected CompuLert as one of the key
management technologies in their multi-million dollar
information Services' World Wide Command Center located
at the Sterling Heights, Michigan assembly plant.
The new Command Center is the nerve center of monitoring
and managing DaimlerChrysler's computer systems throughout
the world, including eight mainframe computer systems,
two remote data centers, and manufacturing's systems
such as just in time processing and shipping. With responsibility
for monitoring batch operation updates averaging 20,000
jobs per day, the Command Center's staff of 21 Technical
Support Analysts require enterprise management software
solutions they can rely on to assist them in controlling
the recently consolidated operations from several remote
data centers, while delivering the 7x24 system availability
previously maintained by hundreds of remote staff.
After extensive research and evaluation of currently
available system management products, DaimlerChrysler
selected Tone Software's CompuLert Enterprise Management
Solution as a key software solution to assist them in
controlling world wide operations from their new Command
Center. CompuLert provides comprehensive facilities
to manage multi-platform, distributed systems and hardware,
enabling IS to consolidate consoles, control enterprise
operations, and automate the management of diverse computing
environments.
